C6AKQ C6A/N5KM Bahamas 9-13/6/2011
N5KM and N4BP will travel to Freeport , Grand Bahama on June 9 and remain until June 13 to include the ARRL June VHF Contest.
The call used during the contest will be C6AKQ ( QSL via N4BP ).
Before and after the contest they plan to operate 80-10M including the WARC bands with the calls C6AKQ and C6A/N5KM
For all activity, we will use both CW and SSB. We will have two fully operational stations allowing us HF activity even during the VHF contest.
Rigs will be the Elecraft K3 and Icom 706MKIIG . Antennas will be a 40M dipole at 80 feet (to be used also on Six Meters), 80M dipole at 100 feet, and 6M dipole at 60 feet.
