Contest University Italy 2012
It’s without doubt one of the most important ham radio events in Italy. Born four years ago, thanks to the efforts of IK2EAD Romeo, IK2BCP Guido e IK2QEI Stefano, the Contest University Italy is today a reference point for all high-flyer contesters and DXers.
The Contest University has been founded by K3LR Tim Duffy, owner of a prestigious contest station in Pennsylvania. The 1st edition took place during the Hamvention 2007 in Dayton, when 120 students followed all the interesting speechs and presentations. In 2008 students were 200. A few months later the 1st European edition took place in UK, during the RSGB Convention.
CTU Italy was born on March 2009 with 170 students. The 4th edition will take place on Saturday March 10 in Montichiari where spekers will meet over 350 students!
