Special Event Station 3Z0WOSP of Polish Scouts supporting the Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity's. We cooperate with GOCCDivision from "Superschool" (public primary school) in Warsaw; QRV from 1 to 16 January 2014. The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation was created in order to protect the lives of ill people, especially children. The main goals of the Foundation are improving and supporting health care as well as promoting preventive treatment. During the 19 years of operation and organization of 20 Grand Finales, the Foundation has raised nearly 100 000 000 USD. This money has bought over 20 000 medical devices for over 500 pediatric units. Statistically, since the beginning of the GOCC existence 4 devices have been delivered to children wards every day. This amazing success was possible thanks to the involvement of small communities and the support of 120 000 volunteers who gather together every year to organize hundreds of fundraising events, charitable concerts and auctions. Their hard work translates into sophisticated medical equipment becoming easily accessible to all children treated in public health care institutions and an improved quality of life for thousands of Polish families.
