For commemorating of the centenary of the Great War, a the terrible battle of Hartmannswillerkopf took place in Haut-Rhin departement (68), a place named today "Vieil-Armand", the Amateur stations of Haut-Rhin Departement join the national organization of special callsigns and activate TM68VA callsign at repeatedly between May 27 and October 18, 2014 on 24 May, 29 May, 01-Jun, 21-Jun, 22-Jun, 26-July, 27-July, 10-August, 16-August, 24-August, 30-August, 21-Sept., 27-Sept., 12-Oct., 18-Oct. 2014. The callsign TM68VA will be active from the summit of "Vieil Armand" accordance with the timetable and in several modes, CW, phone and RTTY on the HF bands 80m, 40m, 20m. All contacts with TM68VA are valid for the Centennial of war 1914/1918 Award, and will be confirmed systematically by QSL via the bureau.
