8J8150G 150th anniversary of Goryokaku Castle

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Goryokaku Castle (star fort) special event station 8J8150G will be active on all bands and modes from 5-25th June 2014. Goryokaku Castle is located in the city of Hakodate (JCC 0104), Hokkaido Prefecture, Oshima Subprefecture, on the island of Hokkaido, (AS-078, WLOTA 2967), Japan. It was the main fortress of the short-lived Republic of Ezo. QSL via the JARL Bureau. [JJ1WTL/AC6IM]
