VE4XSI Special Event Station

Special event station VE4XSI will be on the air from Gimli, Manitoba, with a special QSL card commemorating Sigurjon Isfeld who in July, 1914 left Gimli with 100 Canadian huskys, traveled to Montreal and then took a boat to England delivering the dogs TO Sir Shackleton. The station will be operational 26th July thru 04th August 2014. Operating times 1400Z - 2300Z daily, as operator conditions dictate.
