Special Call SN100PKK (QSL via SP9KDU) (activity 01 - 15 August 2014) Józef Pi?sudski, later The First Marshal of Poland, established The First Cadre Company on 3 August 1914. The military detachment was formed from the members of the Riflemen’s Association and the Polish Rifle Squads. The Company became the core of the First Brigade of the Polish Legions in World War I. The Polish troops contributed to the liberation of Polish territories and regaining Polish sovereignty after 123 years of partitions by neighbouring powers.
