The Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) was a First World War army corps of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force that was formed in Egypt in 1915 and operated during the Battle of Gallipoli. Special callsign VK100ANZAC will be in use between 25 April and 20 December "for significant event dates covering all
conflicts where Australian forces have been involved from WW1". State and Territory special callsigns (VI1ANZAC, VI2ANZAC, VI3ANZAC, etc) are available on a roster basis until the conclusion of the WIA Remembrance Day contest (15-16 August).
