ZS9HEL The Hell
A team of South African operators from the Western Cape and Northern will be visiting "The Hell", also known as Gamkaskloof or Gamka's Valley, situated in the Swartberg Mountains of the Southern Cape in the area between 33.28 S 21.15 E [KF06nr] and 33.33 S 21.42 E [KF06rq]. They will be using a special call sign, ZS9HEL..
The special station with the call sign ZS9HEL will be active from Thursday 24 September until Sunday 27 September. The station will be active on 160, 80, 40 and 20 meters. The station will be active on some DX frequencies but their main aim will be to achieve a Worked All ZS Award and a Top Band certificate.
