Denmark is celebrating Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II and His Majesty King Frederik X. Sunday 14. January 2024, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II will abdicate and leave the throne to her son His Royal Highness Crownprince Frederik, who will be sworn in as the new King of Denmark. For this reason, the Experimental Danish Radio amateurs association (EDR for short) and Faroe Radio Amateurs (FRA for short) will activate six Special Event Stations with the following call signs OZ24QUEEN - OX24QUEEN -OY24QUEEN - OZ24KING - OX24KING - OY24KING.
