VI60IOTA 60th Anniversary of the IOTA Awards Program

Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Islands On The Air programme, special event callsign VI60IOTA will be in use across Australia during 2024: "whenever VI60IOTA is heard on the air", the organizers say, "it will be from one of the VK IOTA entities", including the main islands of Australia (OC-001) and Tasmania (OC-007). Andrey, VK5MAV is using the callsign during part of his current VK5MAV/4 activity from Magnetic Island (OC-171) and team VK5FIL will also operate VI60IOTA during part of their 14-21 April expedition to Flinders Island (OC-261). QSOs will be made available for Club Log and LoTW Matching on the IOTA website; traditional QSLs via M0OXO's OQRS.
