KL7RRC Sledge Island NA-210

Just had a short SSB QSO with Yuri UA9OBA as KL7RRC/mm on 14.260 MHz at 03:55z. At the time of QSO they were passing by St Lawrence Island (NA-040) but there was no operation from there as originally planned.

After the very successful first time ever activation of NA-232 IOTA New One – St Matthew Island with two operating places and 3630 QSOs in the log, the next target of the team is NA-210 Sledge Island.

Approximately (depending on weather and landing conditions), they plan to start the operation from the 28th of July for 24 hours.

Due to stormy seas, no landing to NA-210 is possible, based on the huge experience of captain David VP8DEU. The sad but only decision is that NA-210 is cancelled.
