I am a Delta Airlines Pilot, and a Dentist. Due to my previous travel to Ghana and by the suggestion of my good friend Luis, XE1L I aquired a Ghanan Radio Amateur License, 9G5MP August 5, 2011 from The Ministry of Telecommunications Office in Accra, Ghana.

Next trip I will bring my portable station and will try to put as many deserve DXers in my log.

I am an airline pilot and will be travelling periodically to Accra for 1-4 days at a time.

Radio and antenna is limited to what I can get in my suitcase, which goes on the flight deck as a carry on and is not checked.

Operation is sporadic based on when I layover in Ghana. I only know a day or two in advance. QSL via W8MP
