GB2PG Paul Godley’s Scottish 90th Anniversary

The Scots, Crocodile Rock Amateur Group (CRAG) will be operating the special event callsign GB2PG on 3/4th Dec & 10/11th Dec 2011 from Ardrossan, Scotland. This event is to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the first shortwave transatlantic radio signals being received in Ardrossan by the American Paul Godley in December 1921.

The station will be active mostly on 80 – 10 metres SSB with some CW. Operators will be Bob (GM0DEQ), Robbie (GM0SEI) & Dave (GM6HGF).
