UPDATE: Al, VE1AWW reports the 40-80-160 antenna is dead and he won’t be replacing it anytime soon. He can work 30m (PSK 31) 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10m. Al will soon have a 6m beam too.

" Very bad news. Sable Island is a Migratory Bird Sanctuary. Yesterday, a migratory bird (and protected species) was found near my towers with injuries suggesting a collision with one of the towers. I am required to take down the towers until an investigation and policy can be developed for tern season (April-August). Very disappointing for sure. "

Sorry to one and all for the great delay in QSL replies and email replies. My laptop with logs died just after I was shut down late last June. I now have the computer and logs back. I am headed back to CY0 later this week. I will sort through the backlog out there and post them on my return to the mainland (late December). I will post here when back on the island.
