ZL9HR donates to the DX Community
HARAOA will release the ZL9HR financials which is rarely performed by any DXpedition. Any excess of donation funds will be donated in order to sponsor future DXpedition events and return to the DX community.
An advance donation of $1000 has already been made to NCDXF.
The HARAOA team has invested a significant amount of their own personal funds and unpaid work to make ZL9HR possible. The driving factor to activate such a rare entity such as ZL9 is for the benefit of the Amateur Radio hobby.
HARAOA would also like to acknowledge all the HARAOA members who contributed hundreds of hours of their time and effort to assist with fundraising activities (such as sausage sizzle events) in order to purchase the Kenwood TS590S radios and SPE 1K Amplifiers that where used on ZL9HR.
We would like to thank all our supporters who donated and assisted to make ZL9HR a reality and we look forward to another HARAOA DXpedition planned for August 2013.
