St Lucia expedition
Inviato: 12 febbraio 2013, 6:31Rob, N7QT will be heading back to St Lucia on a suitcase mini-DXpedition. He, J6/N7QT, and Frans J69DS will be operating from April 5 – 16, 2013 using the new CrankIR portable antenna system from SteppIR.
Their operational base will be a magnificent villa located in Babonneau, which overlooks the city of Gros Isle and Cap Estate. Their goal is to demonstrate “ultralite†DXpeditions into magnificent “vista†locations. Operations will include field portable radio, battery only using backpack/lightweight antennas. They will be operating 80m-10m using CW, SSB, and RTTY or PSK, as well as field portable (battery only) either from St Lucia beaches or scenic mountain tops.
