GB100SDG 100 years of the Brownie

Thinking Day On the Air - Special Event Station for Shelf District Guides celebrating 100 years of the Brownie. Over the weekend of 15th / 16th February 2014, I will be operating GB100SDG from my home QTH. In the shack will be Brownies from different packs from the Shelf District (near Halifax). The exact schedule has yet to be agreed with the Brownie Leaders. We plan to operate on all bands 6m to 80m using an Icom 756 Pro III feeding a SteppIR BigIR vertical with 80m coil addon. I have been working with the Brownies in preparing their greeting and practising on PMR walkie talkies to give them confidence and avoiding mike fright. 73's Andrew (M0HFX)
