TM100BS Commemorations for Battle of the Somme

Radio Club Albertin F5KOU have a special call TM100BS to commemorations for Battle of the Somme. Our Lady of Brebieres in Albert. World War i helped to give the monument a new celebrity. Bombed in 1915, his virgin gold, hit by a shell, strongly bent without falling! The church and his statue martyrdom were then extensively photographed and the image was broadcast around the word in the form of poscards sent to their families by soldiers in the region. At the end of the conflict,Our Lady of Brebieres is rebuilt identically by the son of the architect Edmond Duthoit, Louis Duthoit, between 1927 and 1931.
