Special Event Station GB1FZR (Golf Bravo 1 First Zeppelin Raid) on 18th & 19th January 2015 run by some of the members of the Medway Amateur Receiving and Transmitting Society (M.A.R.T.S.) and a few friends to mark the first bombing raid in England during the First World War. This year marks the 100th Anniversary of civilians being killed in the first air raid to be launched on the U.K. In 1915 the Kaiser sanctioned the bombing of military and industrial targets along the British coast but not London itself and surprisingly, Norfolk civilians were the first to be killed.
