T31LP Nikumaroro Island OC-043

As of June 13th, Lee, T31LP is now QRV from Nikumaroro Island (OC-043), Republic of Kiribati. He is there as part of the TIGHAR Amelia Earhart project.

Initially operating as T31LP/MM when sailing from Fiji to Nikumaroro, Lee is now land based and expects to be active when time permits for the next few weeks.

Lee, KA3WRB operates onboard the vessel "Nai'a", offshore Nikumaroro Island, Central Kiribati. He has been active as T31LP since 14 June and will remain there until the 26th as part of the TIGHAR (The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery, http://tighar.org) project aiming at finding "conclusive artifact evidence" that Amelia Earhart's final flight ended on Nikumaroro, back in 1937 known as Gardner Island. He is QRV around 14280-14310 kHz after 4 UTC, but as long as he is not land based, the operation will not count for DXCC or IOTA. [TNX DX World]
