V63YWR Ulithi Atoll OC-078
William is the principal of our school - Federai Elementary School on Federai Island which is part of Ulithi atoll. Our population on the island is less than 100 people. We usually have around 25 students. Our school goes from first through eighth grade. After eigth grade, our students have to go to Outer Island High School on Falalop, Ulithi.
Our original antennas were a longwire for 20M and a 40M dipole. Later we cut the 40M dipole down to 20M and aimed it into Hawaii. In June 2012 we put up a donated TA33 Jr at 40 feet and located next to our school library. The most recent addition is a 5 band hex beam at 30 feet (no picture yet).
