Indian radio amateurs are allowed to append "3CY" to the suffix of their callsigns (e.g. VU2TUM/3CY) from 23 to 30 August. This is to commemorate the Chandrayaan-3 lunar exploration mission, which successfully landed a spacecraft near the Moon's south pole region on 23 August. Also celebrating Chandrayaan-3 are special callsigns AT2ISRO, AT3CYN, AT3MON and AT3MOON.
