WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS DAY
In 2007 the United Nations General Assembly declared 2 April as World Autism Awareness Day to highlight the need to help improve the quality of life of autistic individuals so they can lead full and meaningful lives as an integral part of society. From 1 to 7 April a large multinational team will operate special event stations from Alaska (W2A/KL7), Canada (VC2AA), Croatia (9A24WAW), Dominican Republic (HI8AUT), England (GB2AA and GB4AAW), Hawaii (W2A/KH6), Indonesia (8A2AAW), Netherlands (PA24WAAD and PD2024AAW), Scotland (GB2AAW, GB5AAW, GB6AAW, GB9AAW), Seychelles (S76A), USA (W2A), Wales (GB0AAW and GB2WAA), West Malaysia (9M4CSI).QSL via operators' instructions.
