The Members of Radio Club Torrevieja will be broadcasting on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June
2024 from the submarine "S-61 Delfín", for almost 48 hours uninterrupted.
The activity is put on the air in all the floating museums of the world, among which the "S-61
Delfin" is counted as unique in Spain, on the occasion of the celebration of the Weekend of Ships
Museum, event organized by the " Amateur Battleship New Jersey Radio Station "from New Jersey
USA and with the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the City of Torrevieja. For the
occasion the special code "EH5DLF" has been requested.
The broadcasts began on Saturday, June 1 at 9:00 am, and they shut down their equipment on
Sunday, June 2, in the afternoon. It is expected to contact more than 100 countries and more
than 1000 operators Worldwide.
For the occasion a special QSL card was designed, which was sent to all participants to confirm the
contact with the "S-61 Delfin" and thus put in value the heritage of the city of Torrevieja. QSL via
