Callsign: AU25KVD
We are glad to inform you that we have received a grand opportunity to be part of the silver jubilee celebration of the historic triumph of the Indian Army in the Kargil War 1999. Every year Government of India celebrates, Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26 the audacious success of our soldiers in the Kargil War. Following ‘Forever In Operations’, this year, the Ministry of Communication and Ministry of Defence, Indian Army has decided to allow all HAM Clubs in India to operate HF station from the restricted military zone at the height of above 13,000 feet to express salutation and sacrifice of brave hearts of our soldiers.
We are also delighted to announce that we have met the required standards to get selected as well as confirmed in order to join this program from the Ministry of Defence, Indian Army. It’s a very tough, serious and expensive expedition and our organization’s resources are limited. In the past two decades, we have gone through several circumstances. However, we always dreamt for good work and encompassed a positive vision to help and cooperate with HAMs across Bharat. We feel that this is a grand reward to us for our continuous dedication to HAM Radio to be part of this historic mission. We are expecting your kind presence to join with us on AIR.
I am also lucky to have my Guru cum fundamental, Shri Tapas Chakraborty, VU2TKC as technical head while solo operating the HF Station from KARGI and special callsign is AU25KVD.
Waiting to meet with you on AIR.
