Caribbean Tour by Rudi DK7PE

Rudi, DK7PE will activate some some Caribbean Islands e.g. VP2M, V4, ZF and some others. Rudi mentions ‘My trip will be a mixture of DXpedition, antenna experimenting and visiting some of the local radio amateurs who kindly helped me to get all the permissions. When on the air I will be operating CW with my old ETM9C keyer using an ICOM IC-7000 with 100W and wire antennas.
Where possible I will use some of my directional wire antennas for the higher bands, e.g. a three element Backpack Delta Loop (see picture) or a Vertical J-pole Beam. I will try the low bands and
of course 60m. I am looking forward to hearing you on the bands!’
