Currently based in Nairobi (Kenya), and using his 5Z4J callsign, John, ZS5J has just received his 5X1J license. "I have an office in Uganda and I travel by road to Uganda from Kenya on a regular basis, usually for 2 to 3 weeks for each trip", he says. "It is on these trips that I will be using my 5X1J callsign. I will be operating mostly from Jinja, at the source of the River Nile near Lake Victoria". QSL only via LoTW.
