Dx Pedition Morocco 2011 :
Herne is. AF 068 from 29 January to 6 February 2011.
Some operators of TS7TI and TS8P have planned the activities from the rare IOTA Island (14,1 %) Herne island AF-068, activated only one time, and from the Dakhla Park WFF CNFF-007.
We hope that the permissions will be issued for that date.
Our friend Kacem CN8LR, secretary of ARRAM, is interesting to obtain the license and special call.

INFORMAZIONI DX PEDITION MOROCCO 2011
Informo i cari amici e colleghi radio amatori che il 27 genn. alle ore 15:30 il team 5C2 era in viaggio per raggiungere DAKHLA, durante il viaggio è scoppiata una ruota della jeep e si sono capovolti, nell'impatto è rimasto ferito soltanto il caro amico Leo I8LWL (5C2L).

Il resto del team sta bene.

Nell'impatto Leo ha riportato una frattura alla spalla ed un lievissimo trauma cranico, ora è ricoverato in una clinica di Marrakesch dove ha ricevuto le cure mediche ed un'ottima assstenza. Non appena miglioreranno le sue condizioni, Leo ritornerà  in Italia insieme alla moglie e alla figlia, appena arrivate.

Ieri sera Leo si e' alzato ed ha un buon umore

Molte grazie a tutti da Leopoldo I8LWX (5C2L) :
finalmente sono tornato a casa, ed è la prima volta che ho preso il PC, pur avendo difficoltà  a scrivere (il dolore è ancora molto), mi sento in dovere di esprimere a tutto il mondo radioamatoriale la mia più profonda gratitudine per l'aiuto e la solidarietà  ricevuti.
Un particolare e grande grazie agli amici om del Marocco, non cito gli innumerevoli nominativi per non dimenticarne qualcuno.
Anche stando a 3000 km. da casa, le innumerevoli telefonate, emails, messaggi da tanti amici sono stati di grande aiuto morale per me.
Anche Roger IK2PZC (5C2P), Fred IK7JWX (5C2J), Mounaim CN8QY inviano un grande grazie a tutti !

Il ritorno a casa di Leopoldo D'Avino I8LWL.

Ci ha accolto con la sua proverbiale cortesia il collega radio amatore I8LWL, giacchè ancora tumefatto dalle ferite riportate durante l'incidente della spedizione in Marocco. Tuttavia ci tiene a precisare senza indugi, che è stata prima di tutto una spedizione umanitaria più che scientifica. Nel senso che, egli ha dovuto rivedere tutti i parametri di giudizio di un popolo, quello nord africano, che a torto si ritiene lontano dalle nostre abitudini; e noi con lui abbiamo deciso di lanciare questo messaggio di grande ammirazione per la gente del Marocco.
