G3BHK S.K.

Les Mitchell (G3BHK), the founding father of JOTA, passed away on 6 October. He launched the idea of a Jamboree On The Air in 1957, and the first JOTA event took place one year later. Over the years JOTA has become the largest international Scout event ever, with thousands of participants from all over the world. The 57th JOTA will be held on 18-19 October.
