As the forecast indicated strong winds and rough seas, the VP6D team went QRT earlier than planned, on 31 October at 16.20 UTC, "in order to achieve a safe departure from Ducie Island". According to the latest statistics, 113,726 QSOs were made with 24,920 unique callsigns (21.91%).
