The JIDXM (Japan International DX Meeting) DXpedition of the Year Award is presented to teams and individuals making an outstanding contribution to the DX community. The 2020 Award has been bestowed to the VP2VB Danny Weil Memorial DXpedition, organized to bring the Danny Weil story to today's amateur radio community. The team (KO8SCA, OH2BH, OH2GEK and VE7NY) focused on low bands to Japan and Europe, and skillfully utilized CW, FT4, and FT8, achieving more than 5000 QSOs on the 160 and 80m bands, including 335 QSOs with Japan.
