Seewoosankar "Jacky" Mandary, 3B8CF, passed away on 17 November. Born in 1943 and first licensed in 1967 as VQ8CF, he remained a regular presence on CW from Mauritius until recent years. For over a quarter of a century, he was also a prominent member of the Mauritius Amateur Radio Society, retiring from the board in 2021. His son Ashwin, 3B8GL, has taken over the family's amateur radio station for a couple of years. He has his late father's logbook, and can confirm QSOs made with 3B8CF (see qrz.com for instructions).
