Support 4K9W
Axel, DL6KVA updates DXers on the plight of Vlad 4K9W
We again ask readers to dig deep and help Vlad continue to receive round the clock care.
Vlad is also a top-notch CW op. Many will have worked him for sure! link http://4k9w.blogspot.co.uk/2009/10/help-project-november-2008.html
With the overwhelming help of very many radio amateurs and some non-amateurs from all over the world, we were able to assure the needed 7 days / 24 hours care for Vlad for four more years. Of course, most of this support (spread through several bulletins and club reflectors in late 2008) came in after information about his situation changed – Vlad’s mother sadly passed on – thus he required immediate ongoing care.
