Kurt Bindschedler, HB9MX passed away on 17 January. Born in 1926, he was the doyen of Swiss DXers and the first President of the Swiss DX Foundation. Over a 15-year span he operated multiple times as S79MX from the Seychelles, including activity from at that time rare IOTA groups such as the Aldabra, Cosmoledo, Amirante and Farquhar Islands.
