RI1F has been active from Viktoriya Island (EU-190), Franz Josef Land since 4 October. Some 4,500 QSOs have been made so far.
Initial plans were for the team to be QRV for one week, and to upload their logs to Club Log (search for RI1F/EU-190) while on the island.

The DXpedition to Viktoriya Island (EU-190), Franz Jozef Land went QRT earlier than expected, around 12 UTC on 8 October, as polar bears roaming around the camp and even peeping into the tents were becoming a major problem. Reportedly the RI1F team made some 12,000 QSOs, and will upload the logs to Club Log when they are back on the mainland.
