Jean Touzot, F8IL, the oldest amateur radio operator in France and possibly in the world, passed away on 1 December aged 109. Up until a few years ago he was still having daily QSOs with French stations on 80m CW. He was a member of the Reseau des Emetteurs Francais (REF) since 1951 and of the Union Francaise des Telegraphistes (UFT). [TNX F5NQL]
