IARU Region 1 Executive Committee Meets in Vienna

Prior to the Region 1 interim meeting in Vienna (see below) the Region's Executive Committee met for two days to progress the agenda which was set at the 2017 Triennial Conference.
Matters discussed included a financial review, consideration of the work of the Permanent Committees and Working Groups, WRC19 issues, the challenges facing amateur radio today, actions to further resource the Region, progress on the new suite of websites and plans for the Region 1 General Conference in late 2020.
Whilst in Vienna, the EC also took the opportunity to visit the headquarters of the Austrian IARU member Society, OeVSV.
