Info from West Bengal Radio Club

"My information is that it is not going to be just a 'super cyclone' but a 'super super cyclone,' which will surpass any other cyclones of recent times in fierceness and intensity, including Aila and Bulbul," says Ambarish Nag Biswas, president of West Bengal Radio Club (Ham Radio), which uses radio signals to tap into distress calls during disasters and emergencies. Having set up "radio signal towers" in all the strategic locations along the coastline which will fall on the Amphan's path, Nag Biswas says he is maintaining "regular contact with the concerned authorities" including IMD, the WB administration and the Indian Coast Guard for updates.
