Marcello Cassinelli, IK2DIA passed away unexpectedly on 1 December. Between 2001 and February 2020 he teamed up with Silvano, I2YSB & Friends and operated from Niger (5U2K and 5U4R), Marquesas (TX4PG), Samoa (5W0SB), Tokelau (ZK3SB), Somalia (6O0CW and 6O0N), Djbouti (J20MM/J20RR), Sierra Leone (9L1X), Ghana (9G5TT/9G5XX), Togo (5V7TT), Liberia (5M2TT and A82X/A82Z), Ivory Coast (TU2T), Chad (TT8TT), Mayotte (TO2TT), Burkina Faso (XT2TT), Benin (TY1AA), Zambia (9J2T), Kenya (5Z0L), Democratic Republic of the Congo (9Q0HQ), Guinea (3XY1T), Guinea Bissau (J5T), Central African Republic (TL8TT), Cameroon (TJ2TT), Rwanda (9X0T/9X0Y), Uganda (5X3C/5X3E) and Tanzania (5I5TT/5I4ZZ). As a member of the Italian DXpedition Team he was inducted into the CQ DX Hall of Fame in 2019.
