The Cass Awards honour the wisdom and spirit of Cass WA6AUD (SK), and encourage DXpeditions to maximize the number of DXers worked with a Plaque for the single-operator DXpedition that works the most unique callsigns within 2 weeks or less, and a Plaque for the "unlimited" DXpedition that works the most unique callsigns.
Janusz Wegrzyn, SP9FIH has won (for the fifth year in a row!) the 2021 Single-Operator Cass Award by working 9,684 unique stations during his oneman operation from Sint Maarten as PJ7P.
The 3DA0RU team (Vasily Pinchuk R7AL, Vasily Sukhanov RA1ZZ, Mike Alekseev RU3UR, Leo Berezhnoy RW9JZ, Slav Rodin OK8AU, Nick Tolkunov R5EC, Wlodek Herej SP6EQZ and Vladimir Vassiljev R9LR) worked 24,985 unique stations from Eswatini, setting a new record to win the 2021 Unlimited Cass Award (and after that, they went on to work 24,856 unique stations from Lesotho as 7P8RU).
Presented annually, the Cass Awards are issued in March for DXpeditions during the preceding year. See http://www.cassaward.com/ for complete information.
