It is with great sadness we say goodbye to Gaston, ON4WF. We remember Gaston as being full of energy and very active in the amateur radio community, including UBA and ARISS. Trying to describe Gaston’s merits is impossible.

Gaston received his license in 1955 and was awarded the Roy Stevens, G2BVN, Memorial Trophy of the IARU Region 1 in 2014 for his invaluable inspiration and contribution to amateur radio.

On behalf of IARU Region 1 we extend the deepest and heartfelt condolences.
