Old Ham Equipment Find: Alpha 100 XL Bilinear Amplifier (160-10 Mtrs). Face has RF Level Meter, Power Control Knob with 3 settings from Min. to Max. and an On Power Switch. The rear has a fuse holder, power cord, On/Pre Amp Switch, AM/SSB Switch, Xmtr and Antenna Receptacles. Unknown date of manufacture, believe to increase a licensed ham's radio output by 100 Watts. Linear Amp's are unlawful for CB use. Amp reads "Cal-Amer Ind San Diego, Ca 92111
