My Regenerodyne vs Icom IC-751A


My homemade Regenerodyne in action! Its coverage is 20/30/40 and 80 meters.
6C5 local oscillator, 6J7 front-end and mixer, 6SN7 decetcor and first audio amplifier, 6V6 final audio amplifier.
Sensitivity test at 10.137,3 kHz with the very weak signal of IK3NWX beacon (15 Km away) and comparison with my Icom IC-751A: no difference (or maybe just a few dB...).
