I visit VE7SCC in Coquitlam, Canada
Inviato: 22 giugno 2022, 16:42Guided by Phil VE7KRJ, I visited the COQUITLAM AMATEUR RADIO EMERGENCY SERVICES SOCIETY C.A.R.E.S.S. in the beautiful city of Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.
It has been a great experience, the association is very well equipped, with state-of-the-art equipment, dream antennas (two Cubex cubical quad with 2 elements for 40 meters and 4 elements for high bands), Anan 8000 SDR, Flexradio 6700, various Elecraft K3, linear amplifiers of various types and other transceivers.
Well-equipped mechanics and electronics workshop, meeting room equipped to function as an emergency operations center with everything necessary, a formidable trailer for portable and emergency operations that we all would like to have.
Phil has been very kind and has dedicated a lot of time for us to get to know this wonderful place, I hope that he can soon return to this beautiful city and dedicate some time to operate from VE7SCC.
