An International Space Station school contact has been planned with participants at Scuola Media Statale "Salvo D’Acquisto", Cesano Maderno, Italy The event is scheduled to begin at approximately 10:18 UTC, which is 12:18 CEST. The contact will be a telebridge operated by VK5ZAI, located in Kingston, southern Australia.
The event will be webcast on http://www.livestream.com/amsat_italia The contact will be broadcast on EchoLink AMSAT (node 101 377) and JK1ZRW (node 277 208) Conference servers, as well as on IRLP Discovery Reflector 9010.
Salvo D’Acquisto Middle School is located in the centre of Cesano Maderno, not far from Monza (Milano). The school counts 558 students and 59 teachers. A class of 26 students will be involved in the project. These thirteen years old students are attending the third and final year of middle school. The contact is expected to be conducted in Italian by astronaut Luca Parmitano KF5KDP.
