SY7SOG ( SY7 Special Olympic Games ) 17/6-4/7/2011
The special callsign SY7SOG (SY7SpecialOlympicGames)
Telecommunication Union of Thrace (TELETHRA) is activating, as of today June 17, 2011 and up to July 4, 2011 the special callsign SY7SOG (SY7SpecialOlympicGames) for the event to be held in Athens next week.
Operators of our club SZ7XAN will be operating on all bands from 160m to 70cm and all modes (SSB, CW, RTTY, PSK, SSTV etc). There is a special and nice QSL card which will be sent for all QSOs via the Greek QSL bureau (arrangements are to be made).
P.S. During the VHF Aegean contest, SY7SOG will be operating on 50MHz and possibly VHF-UHF (July 2 and 3, 2011).
