TM100SP Roald Amundsen 100th anniversary South Pole

Look for special event station TM100SP to be on air during December 2011.

Activity is to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Roald Amundsen in becoming the 1st explorer to reach the South Pole. He achieved this feat on December 14, 1911.

TM100SP will be operated by François F8DVD from his QTH in Mâcon, eastern France. Activity will be from 10 to 40 meters, mostly SSB.
