VY0/VE3VID Igloolik Island NA-174

David VY0/VE3VID is currently operating from the rare Igloolik Island NA-174.

He will remain there until end of March with a return scheduled for Sept/Oct 2013.

Currently, David uses a 20m dipole on RTTY, but has plans to use a multiband antenna upon his return. His work obligations determine activity, but generally will be on air after 21:00z and definitely weekends.

QSL cards will be designed using the attached image which was taken by David on Igloolik Island.

UPDATE — David confirms he is back on Igloolik NA-174 for another month.

He’ll be looking for RTTY contacts starting around 21:30z today, using a 20m dipole.

The Daily DX reports that David, VY0/VE3VID is back on Igloolik Island (NA-174) and plans to be QRV on 20 metres only starting on 1 January. He will participate in the ARRL RTTY Roundup (4-5 January).
