K5C Cleburne Court House Centenial 15-17/11/2013
Special call K5C to Celebrating the 100th birthday of our Johnson County Court House Cleburne, Texas on
November 15, 16, and 17, 2013. Please QSL to WB5UDA with SASE # 10 size. The Johnson County Courthouse in Cleburne, Texas was dedicated Nov. 28, 1913, but the celebration marking its centennial will be held Nov. 16 because of the Thanksgiving holiday. On November 16 the Texas Historical Marker for the courthouse will be dedicated at 1:30 p.m., followed at 2 p.m. by a ceremony rededicating the Confederate monument on the courthouse grounds. The day will include Open House, Food Court, Informational Booths, Antique Car Show, Live Music, Dancing in the Street, "Gunfighters", $.50 Kissing Booth, Goat Ropeing, Pig Stuffing, Liars Contest, Hog Calling, and Free Chickens. I think. Several K5C Amateur Radio Stations will be on the air on HF, VHF, and UHF.
